A friend of mine told me that Funkadelic were once playing a show to a crowd of people (all white I believe) who were all sitting down, and would clap after every song. Suddenly, the power went out for a moment, and this loud, collective stomping sound began. When the lights came back up and Funkadelic looked out at the crowd, all they could see were tons of white hoods. All the audience members were in KKK outfits and stomping their feet. I'm sure they had weapons in their hands, too. They charged the stage, but Funkadelic managed to get out of there alive, though all of their equipment was lost. Did this happen? To Funkadelic or someone else?

Hmm...I'm pretty sure that's not true. It may have happened to some band...maybe but not the Funkadelic...I don't think. And I couldn't find anything on Google either.
