The Cure thread made me go over to my extensive cd collection to get Head on the Door. I never made it to the C's though. I got to the B's and grabbed Buffalo Tom let me come over. It's a gret album! It brings back a lot of memories from when I listen to it all the time. I like all of their stuff as well. Anyways I was wondering what bands or albums the people on here have had over the years that have been condidered greats, in their opinion.
I'm kind of looking for stuff that isn't really know that well. To me Buffalo Tom for the most part were under the radar.
So name some albums or bands and tell us why we need them.
Buffalo Tom is just melodic and really good sing along kick back music. Plus they're from Boston.
The Heretix are another Boston favorite of mine. The Adventures of Superdevil. Killer, rocking, album!

I agree with you about Buffalo Tom. I was hooked on Big Red Letter day, the guitar kickstarting Soda Jerk. I'm going to put this on right now and I'm going to have a fantastic Saturday.

I'd nominate The Go Betweens as a lesser known band with a string of classic albums. The best Australian band ever?
