haha, actually, I did reply to it with the "she'll be dead" but in fear that apl4eris might mistake it for me threatening her (even though I bet she knows Star Wars quotes), I deleted my reply. I guess I was just paranoid. I just didn't want her to think I was making death threats. Maybe I was worried cuz of that whole stalker/death threat thing she mentioned earlier.

"Muahaha..i've cloned myself and i'm coming to get you both..i'm glad you've had this opportunity to get to know each other, because we will all be living on a small, remote island together...forever! I vant to suck your blood! Blah! Blah!"

That's "Vlah! Vlah!" Dave...man, if you're gonna be evil at least pay attention to details. That's how you get toppled by the secret agent - overlook the big door marked "Escape Hatch" in the tiger pit. Go ahead. Leave a service revolver in there too. Dare ya.

wow, sounds like a good weekend.

I have to say ive noticed the salivia drooling fb male fans...Its kinda scary...I often think twice before telling guys that I like the bands I do...but then again, I would never find out what bands they like, and id never be able to start thinking about floor plans my self!! ha. Never found a guy in to *JUST* the perfect music though. But i think i prefer having a little differing opinions...aslong as they arent too big...

My experience is that most of the women I know are into far cooler music than myself and I end up in a "god, I'm an uninformed, uncool cultreless buffoon.." mood.
Also, I've been through the "wow, you like [instert band name here] too?!?" thing so many times it just seems arbitrary - like in Good Will Hunting where Minnie's character invites Matt's character for some coffee...he counters that they may as well eat some caramels as it is equally as arbitrary - an excuse to interact.
I think when two people are interested in each other they can sit together and talk about anything...eating caramels, drinking coffee, The Pixies, Frank Black...as long as they both are more interested in what the other person has to say than hearing themselves talk.
Delicate situation.
The thing about Pixies in particular in a situation like the above is that there is real passion in the midst of all the more disturbing imagery;

"Why did you come so far?"
and she said "Trying to get to you."

"She's my fav. Undressing in the sun."

"Run outside in the desert heat, get your dress all wet and send it to me."

...and so many more.

FB is a 'lover, not a fighter' and finding someone else thats into what he does may mean that that person is also...[insert personality qualities here].

Wouldn't it be cool to have a Pixies tune be the "First Dance" song at a wedding? I think "Ana" would be a good candidate...if it were a little longer.

"Forever" by The Beach Boys will be my wedding song...mostly cause I wanna rip off Full House. If not, I'll use God Only Knows, the most brutally honest love song ever.

I may not always love you
But long as there are stars above you
You never need to doubt it
I'll make you so sure about it

Makes me want to cry.

I guess I just wasn't made for these times.

you're the one claiming it was from the festival site... i/we don't believe you... there's a topman 5 mins walk from the site... and everyone leaves the site to get more drink and stuff (like belts) during the weekend...

hey, bumble improved half a point over the course of the night.

As this is Show Yourselves, we need some pics.
However, none are forthcoming yet, so maybe we can do descriptions...

Mike is bout 6'2.5, stubbly and bald, defensive on sartorial issues, wears a leather jacket and Top Man rock belt, and speaks with an indistinguishable northern brogue.
