Where's me lucky charms?
Seriously, whatever happened to it in this country? Do they still have them in other countries? I imagine they do in the States. I really liked them when I was younger, they were my favourite cerial.
I still have my Lucky Charms mug, though the 'magical' feature does not work anymore, sadly.

It's not even real chocolate. Lucky Charms are the greatest of all cerials. Crunchy Nut Cornflakes are not too far behind.

Lucky Charms were great. However, GypsyDeath, if you're into chocolate, have you tried 'Count Chocula' cereal? Or is that just in the US?

No, I have to agree with Mel, Weeto's were the greatest. I prefer my morning sustenance a little blander nowadays, Weetabix and the like, but Weeto's ruled when I was small.

Do you have Cap'n Crunch with Crunchberries? I would call you seriously impoverished without it. |

They still have Lucky Charms in the States, but I've never actually eaten them, as far as I can recall. I never really ate cold cereal much. Probably largely because I don't like milk.

Yeah, I never knew why they called them marshmallows. They're as hard as a rock, and don't look like a marshmallow. They should call them "sugar shapes".

the marshmellows are the best part though. Lucky Charms should make a cereal that's just the marshmallows, like how Cap'n Crunch made one with just berries. |

I think there was a cereal like this once, like the "marshmallows" and not the other stuff. I can't remember the name, though. I think it flopped due to the negative total nutritional value. |

Cereal is blurghy. It goes soggy fast and makes like a horrible mushy in my mouth. Yuk. cornflakes are the worstest. Crunchy nut is ok but to have a whole bowl I'd have to make two half bowls and it is way too much effort. If any UK bods ever get to go to the lovely ALDI they do a chocolate pillows cereal that has nutella in the middle of it. Makes a nice munchy time snack
can't get into anything these days. Always on the peripheral. Always terrified, exhausted, annoyed, pissed, anxious, out of it-out of the loop, out of my mind, out of time.

I love it when my cereal gets soggy. When it soaks up all that milk, and you squish it in your mouth...MMMMM! If cereal stays hard the whole time, then it's too abrasive on the roof of my mouth. The soggier it gets...the better.

this sounds like an excerpt from A CLOCKWORK ORANGE: "cereal is blurghy. it goes soggy fast like a horrible mushy" :)
yeah, all cereals have a window of time before they become too soggy. some more than others. Rice Chex for instance, go soggy VERY fast. you've gotta eat those things up pretty quickly. but then something like Coca Puffs or Cap'n Crunch, has so many artifical ingredients they almost never go soggy. the milk can't penetrate the artifical barrier surrounding them. |

Yep, Rice Chex have to be eaten immediately. Rice Crispies are best eaten as half bowls with phone calls and distressed kids being ignored until the meal is complete.
Even a sugery cereal like Froot Loops loses alot if you let it sit for minute. |

Speaking of poor man's cereal, check out a bag of Chips Ahoy (or any other cookies) and compare the ingredients to your favorite sugar-coated cereal. Pretty much the same thing at half the price. So why don't we just pour milk over a bowl full of Chips Ahoy for breakfast?

I've been addicted to this cereal lately: Honey Bunches of Oats
It's got these clusters of granola glazed with honey, and corn flakes glazed with honey. Mmmm.

Ah, you're wrong there. Chocolate graham crackers are good for this too, but they get soggy REALLY fast. |

I was once addicted to that cereal. I used to buy a couple boxes when I'd see it on sale. I'd get one of the regular flavor and one with almonds. I think it might be laced with some addictive contraband. |
