I highly recommend that everyone here checks out Suran Song in Stag's live show if you get a chance. They are one of the most fascinating live shows I've ever seen. It's very much performance art. And it's quite rocking, too, even though it's just two people, Suran Song singing and her husband, Will, on bass. They've had a series of drummers, but now they've set on a drum tracks (recorded from live drums so that's helpful). I don't really even want to go to the trouble of describing the music or the performance because it must be witnessed to be understood. damn, yah'll ain't even viewing this one. I posted it last night and ONE person has looked at it. Maybe I should have called it Nude Photos of Liz Phair. If you want peoples attention, you gotta mention sex.

Oh, Martin Bisi produced the last couple Suran Song in Stag albums. He also produced Sonic Youth's EVOL and worked on Bad Moon Rising. There you go! Ties in with the Sonic Youth praise going on round here right now.

But that title doesn't mention sex! Granted, nudity sometimes implies sex, but not always.
