I've just seen this band on TOTP, and I really liked it - they played 'Mr Brightside'.
Is this band good, and worth investigating further?
I think they did a song which went 'you have a boyfriend, who looks like my girlfriend' or something.
Also, if you listen to 'Mr Brightside', try not to think o 'Born Slippy' by Underworld - the verse sounds very familiar.

Weren't "the Killers" the fake band playing on the New Order video Crystal?
I keep feeling like people are just looking at screens and web sites all the time, but do they ever do anything? Or go out and say anything to anyone? I'm not so sure anymore. |

Yeah Simon, I have seen them twice. The first time (supporting Stellastarr*) they were a little nervous but despite this they really impressed me with their songs (I had only heard one before - 'Jenny'). I saw them a week ago, headlining the same venue (Manchester Academy 3) and they were even better. I am looking forward to their album, which comes out on Monday.
