1) Apparently, there are people with good taste out there.

2) Not all vegetarians are evil.

3) The French aren't as bad as you'd think.

4) I can get music news without reading the NME (actually, I knew this one already, but now I get better news).

5) Mclusky are a fine band.

6) Never trust a Canadian with a Greek name.

I have this nice boogie board to sell you. We'll do it in escrow. You pay shipping/duties. Great deal. I throw in free souvlaki.

I improved my English. Now I know some very cool expressions like :

- It was ace
- You're cooking with gas
- This cracked me up

etc.

I keep feeling like people are just looking at screens and web sites all the time, but do they ever do anything? Or go out and say anything to anyone? I'm not so sure anymore.

that's interesting. i don't think we're affected as much over here (in the uk), as we tend to pick up american sayings/words/phrases pretty quick anyway, through tv and film... but i guess it doesn't work so well the other way around?

1. Strawberries are capable of becoming angry.
2. Everyone gets accused of being The Swimmer at some point.
3. Frank Black actually posts to his own forum occasionally. (Who would have guessed?)

YES!!! Get in!!! I have finally managed to teach somebody something!!!

I have learned that there is a really cool club in Manchester that I didn't even know about.

That there is a really cool lad who goes there that I cannot seem to find.

That the French/Swedish/Spanish/Dutch etc put the rest of us to shame with their grasp of another language.

Of some really cool new music/films/books/websites etc.

That it's possible for a website to play quite a large part in your day to day life. God I've turned sad!!!

That I really like som..........

I've learnt that Frank uses a certain type of bait. We discussed it on the secret forum - unfortunately, I'm duty bound not to reveal it.

Sorry, we can't answer that.
It is not wise to speak of him directly.
