My god, those are the most inspirational words I have read in a long time. Sincerely, I mean that. While I've thrilled at the thought of seeing the Pixies after all these years and of hearing new songs from them, so, too I've worried about the kick-ass Catholics. But you crystalize the truth right there in that post. Than you, thank you!

I honestly believe it. No other artist in any medium has so regularly thrilled me, in so many different ways, even when it took me a minute to be really thrilled. As much as I love film, and other music, FB has been right there at the top through practically my entire art-absorbing life, so I see no reason after all this time to start doubting the man now. |

Itīll be interesting seeing Frank doing an album with pressure on his back. It would be the first since FB&C self titled?

No pressure, not from us, the fans. Maybe from himself, but I'd hate to think that he'd do that.

Is "all around the world" the only new song in the pixies' setlist? they played it two or three times accoustically. i can't think of any other songs that they've played that don't appear on their commercially released works... |

I like the sound on both "Bam Thwok" and "Ain't That Pretty At All". Kicking guitar on both.

Despite Mr. Chicken's statements to the contrary, rereading the remark about Errol being surprised/startled by the "new Pixies songs", I'm pretty sure Errol was likely referring to the Frank Black Francis thing. |

So why wouldn't chicken tell us that after it was released? Why the mystery still? |

Because s/he grossly misunderstood what he/she was even talking with Errol about? |

My take is that it was a hoax. Okay that detail about Honeycomb was okay but it was a pretty vague anyway and was 50/50 to be correct anyway!
Very much like Nostradamus and every other false prophet, chickenwithtwoheads didn't really tell us anything specific in his story. Go on, read it, there's no hard facts in there. In my opinion he was hedging his bets knew that he could never be disproved.
But that's just me, an old cynic I guess. |

Maybe I was being harsh. I don't really think chicken made up meeting Errol. I think that he got carried away and embellished the tale significantly. For example, do I remember in Breaking News Part 2 there was supposed to be a massive, exciting Pixies related secret that he knew but couldn't possibly divulge? |

yeah that was a bit weird, I chat with him sometimes maybe I could ask him
but you know he was right, the pixies did want to make a new record, but Kim was against that
