Sometime late July/Early August, i'm traveling with some chums to your fine land, and was wondering if you had any recommendations of some cool places to hit (most of us are around 19-21, so think nightlife!!!)

Hey chip, I have a partner at my other job I see once in a while who went to college in Montreal, I will do some research for you, watch this post. I will probably see him one of the next three nights. He's quite the party animal so he will know the hot spots.

montreal's a fuckin awesome city! been there a couple times, but sorry can't really recommend anything specifically. the whole city is pretty cool. when i was there i was able to check out the grand prix which was great. there was lots of stuff going on that weekend. also heard that the strip clubs are pretty good. i'm sure you'll have a blast.

| Well there are festivals going on all summer (comedy, jazz, francophonie, rock)....you cant miss em; There are great live clubs with local and non-local bands (La Salla Rosa, Alize, Swimming), then there are the Club Strips / booom-tst (St-Laurent and Crescent), Montreal is also famous for its pubs (Cock & Bull, Old Dublin)......but you will have to...I mean HAVE TO.... go to Shwartz' Deli for what is the undisputed best smoked meat sandwiches in North America (Its on Saint-Laurent, just ask around and someone will tell you where it is). Other than that, just look up Pollstar.com to find out what bands will be playing while yer there....have fun! |
