(elaboration: someone told me men fall in love with what they see and women fall in love with what they hear, most, not all women i know that is true for. I have met some guys and to look at I haven't initially felt on oh my god attraction, but because of the way they think act and talk they become more and more attractive untill they are the sexiest thing around and this is all down to what they are and not what they look like. This is more difficult to gauge when talking about fantasy males, ie those on TV or in the music business then i guess it is more about the physicality. Although saying that for music-men the lyrics and the voice have also swung it for me, hence my outrageous crush on frank black)

Yagh. I hate that sort of stuff. Setting people up with little "tests" is just... well, lets just say it's happened to me more than once. And not only is it insulting to my integrity, it makes me feel as if the "setter upper" must think I am incredibly stupid or something. One guy was so bad about it, I used to throw him some false positives just for kicks. I mean WTF? Paying some dude 20 bucks to ask for my phone number just to see what I will do? BAH!
Testing sucks. The only way you can ever get to know someone and what they are like is by spending time with them. Creating false scenarios will never give you a true read on anything.

Are you serious, this really happened? After I calmed down, I would have to thank him/her for the best laugh of my life before saying goodbye.

Yes. Sad to say it did actually happen. And there were a bunch of other "tests" too that I won't enumerate here. At first I thought mebbe I was hallucinating that they were set ups, but a friend of his (that did not approve of these methods) was kind enough to let me know what was going on. As did the dude that got paid the 20. *SIGH* Yeah. That one had to end.
Popcorn, anyone?

Okay, I didn't realize there was this other page here. But that's okay, because I prefer the current question anyway.
I often like to be the center of attention, as long as it results in my being appreciated, rather than mocked or reviled. There are times when I just want to be left alone, though.
Would you prefer to have the ability to fly, or to turn invisible?

I'm gonna have to go with invisibility. Cause then you could sneak onto airplanes and fly anyways.

That super powers question has already been asked. The person who answered it then (may have been Ramona or apl) said fly.
Yes those boots can be sexy, on the right woman.
Do you go to great lengths to avoid conflict?

A short way of saying "sexually attractive." Or did you mean Homer's personal definition? If so, I'll let him handle that.
I'll ask a question anyway, though. What's your favorite They Might Be Giants song?

If it involves animals or bodily excretions not normally associated with sex, it's pornography. Otherwise it's good clean fun. What was the last vinyl record you bought?

Are you most of the times disappointed by the answers to your questions (in this game) ?

Duh. Holiday = vacation. I think this was my first answer in this thread. Crete, swimming with the brightly colored and pretty fish. (Though it was part holiday and part business.)
Somebody else post and keep me from monopolizing. |

Yes I do have a roll of duct tape. Actually I have 3 rolls of duct tape. Silver, black, & green.
Qu: If your best friend had a crush on someone, would you make a move on that someone - or does that sort of thing just completely violate the rules of friendship and just sort of make you sick in general?

Can we assume this has happened to you recently Simon? The first thought would probably be "thankyou god"

You can assume all you want, no-one's coming near me with this face-fuzz. Mind you, that gives the impression that women talked to me pre-beard, which is a lie. I'm tempted to weave my beard somewhat, but I fear I'll end up looking like the chap from Static X, so no.
Whats the biggest gig you've ever been to?

Brighton. Is that a city? If not then London. Rome is beautiful but a little bewildering.
Would you rather be 10 minutes late, or an hour early?

10 minutes late. Almost always. There's a curse on me about being late and I have to constantly apologise to my friends (or to those people who are still my friends ... now, they give me a different time for rendez-vous (15 minutes earlier), so they are sure I'm on time (but sometimes it's not enough)).
(Fudd : maybe I said "disappointed" instead of "satisfied" because I used the first adjective that came to my mind, as english is not my natural language. Or maybe I'd sometimes expect more developed answers. Don't know. But I don't think being disappointed means you were expecting smart answers, it depends on questions, on the mood of both questioner and answerer. It's great when it goes space and non-sense. Don't worry, I also love this game )
Q : Do you prefer serious or strange/funny questions ?

Depends on my mood.
About the 10 min thing, I too am always always 10 min late. Someone once told me that that is subconcious attention seeking behaviour. Do you think that person is full of shit? |
