Wow! And I thought I was showing off! No, but seriously I think most people if they have the ability to play one instrument well then they can adapt the skill to others, don't you think? It just depends how many different instruments you have at your disposal.

First song learned was "No sleep till Brooklyn" by the B-boys, and I learned the whole thing on the low E string, then I discovered the mighty power chord!

How bout yourself, first song?

I agree, if you're inclined to play one you can play em all.
The last Chloe Sevigny film I saw was American Psycho when it came out so had to search for photos, she's rather horsy for my liking.

I will make massive amounts of pesto, apparently, and freeze it, then go running, then
hang out with my friend Nancy, then see a movie and have a drink, then put my kid to bed and then stay up for hours and hours burning some CDs for my friend Lizzie. Oh and I owe someone a phonecall, so I should do that right now, thanks for the reminder, floop.

You?

It's 8pm here, some friends called over with some quartzcrystal singing bowls and we played them for the afternoon and recorded it. For the evening I'm going to write, eat brie and play with the cats, maybe watch a movie.

New books or secondhand?

Cider. Or Creme De Menthe. I had a horrible experience with that once. I was mixing drinks, but it does have a bit of a scummy flavour!

(Interesting, lemonade... I would always go for soda water, only use lemonade if its Rose's Lime Cordial, which is particularly tart...).

I like my eggs with my fried rice.

Paella or risotto?
