I do, but you wouldn't say it to see it at the moment. I'm still living with so much of the previous owners taste. There is so much to do to this house and so little time - not to mention money. My biggest gripe is the carpeting which is unbelievably ugly, but I have to wait till the plasterers have been before I can think of replacing it.
textured wallpaper - is it the ugliest thing ever or am I overreacting? |

I can't live with any of my own paintings - I'm my own worst critic, but I have a couple I'm collecting at the end of the year which I love - my favourite is done by a good friend of mine of all the cats we used to live with - it's hard to explain - they're all in silhouette and running toward the kitchen for feeding time - it's quite dark and evocative plus it's full of sentimental value for me. She dedicated the painting to me when my father died.
Do you have any favourite things for your house that you've bought while on holiday? |

I have a little man with a head like a spoon that I bought in Africa, but it's on my desk at work. Does that count? How about my little "ancient" Greek 'thinker' figurine, from Crete I think. I didn't buy it, it was a gift, but its brilliant.
Favourite biscuit/cookie? (reason: we pretty much the middle-aged crazy woman at work to admit to liking disco biscuits the other day...)

These vegan lemon poppy seed cookies that I gorged myself on during my roadtrip. I still email the company that made them every so often begging them to send me some (they still foolishly do not ship internationally - bastards)

Pizza, spaghetti, or shrimp. Same as my favorite dinners every day. I can't recall ever having a special Sunday dinner.
Do you have special Sunday dinners?

Medium, I guess. I'm not much of a steak person, except for cheese steaks.
Favorite pizza topping?
(And I can't recall the last time I had beef at McDonald's. I pretty much always get chicken at fast food places.)
