Best book, I guess the Bible, if you're talking favourite novel maybe 'Captain Corelli's Mandolin' by Louis De Bernieres, sappy fool that I am.
Do you define between best film ever and favourite film? If so, which do you consider to be the best/favourite for you?

I dunno about best but I do like Apocalypse Now a lot. I've seen it 13 times, as many times as I'd seen the Ramones.

Yes, but not all the time. I like how they hide the bags under my eyes. I don't like how I tend to lose and break any new, borrowed or good ones that I get. My favorite right now are shooting glasses. They protect my eyes and actually help me see better.
Have you ever been inside a solar house of any type?

No. I don't buy CDs. I have bought LPs, however, to which I've never listened.

I looked them up on dictionary.com. "Hitherto" means "until this time." "Heretofore" means "up to the present time" or "before this." So they do seem to be largely synonymous.

Can someone explain this genre to a 40something mom?

I think the principle is that, when you're in a crowded, disorienting club and have done enough drugs, ANYTHING sounds good.
Would you rather lose your legs or your arms?
(Incidentally, I think this post will temporarily make me the fifth highest poster. I don't expect to stay there much longer, but I'm going to relish my brief time there.)

as romantic as the image of an outdoor meal is, i find it usually annoying. ms. broken face gets so angry at me for this. if there is a table involved, i'm cool, but this picnic on a blanket shit has to go. its uneven, things fall down, there are bugs, my legs cramp up - so i guess i'd rather eat outside if there is a table, inside if its a picnic-type sitch.
today are you singing for joy or for laughs?

I don't know about "least favorite," but I've never cared for mashed potatoes. That's apparently a very unusual food to dislike.

I am somewhat embarrassed to answer this question honestly but the truth is I brush my teeth at least three times a day, if not more. I also floss at least once a day. Dental hygiene is something I enjoy, I guess. My dentists love this about me but some people think I'm a freak.
What is a question in this thread that you were too chickenshit to answer?

I drove from Montreal to Ottawa, carefully observing the speed limit of the Trans Canada Highway and with an eye out for the Pixies tour bus, from the two Montreal shows to the Hull show. It was fun.

I had a math teacher I really like. I loved his approach. He didn't play stupid games. He made it appoint for his students to understand the material. Once, he took the students' homework papers from the previous night, ripped them, put them in the recycle bin, and said "do the same homework for this night."
Least fun thing you ever experienced? |
