I'm resurrecting this one because I'm kind of interested to see what everyone's been up to since graduating. How was the transition into the real world?

I've managed to get a permanent job and I feel sort of settled down now - I don't have to stress and save for the next rent check, I can afford to eat, that sort of thing. I also find I have a life now, which is unexpected.

So how've you lot been?

So, I finally got my X-Wing

Wow, weird to see a 4 month old topic. Well, I've said it elsewhere but I suppose I should update here too. As you know I'm in China teaching English. I know when my pay is coming (more or less - these bastards are never exact about anything) so I don't have to worry where my next meal is coming from. However, I don't consider this a move into the real world . . . not yet anyway. If I stay here, it'll be my first steps into the real world, but I have no idea what my next move is so I'm still in limbo.

I've had relationship problems since moving here (who on the boards isn't having problems?) and, since I have no idea when/if I'm moving back to the states, that will likely remain a problem for some time.

Other than that, I live day by day making only minor plans for the immediate future. Sure that's Zen, but it's also short-sighted.
