Devo - Gut Feeling. Heard it yesterday on the Life Aquatic trailer and I had the sudden urge (the Uncontrollable Urge, haha) to listen to the song. BTW, I only have Q/A and Devo Live, what should I get next? And what shouldn't I?

Dzihan & Kamien - FAKES Brand new double album. Fisrt disc is their elctronica interpretation of clasic Jazz tunes Billie Holiday etc. The second disc is The Brut Imperial quintetet's Jazz interpretation of Dzihan and Kamien tunes. Fucking GOOD stuff man! I'm not that into electronica but I dig these guys. Lots of live instrumentation.

Why would I not? It had Stephen Fry, Omid Djalili, Armando Ianucci, all funny people. University Challenge: good Funny: good A winning combination.
I'm now listening to Bloc Party's 'So Here We Are', for the record. I love this song to bits.

I'm listening to Brian's genre mix, instrumentals: specifically 'Golden Age' by the Gil Melle Quartet. Good stuff here.

(imho) Don't buy: Smooth Noodle Maps or Total Devo As far as I know, these were primarily made to fulfill a contract to a company that fucked them over big time, and they show it.
Anything else is fine, but there are a lot of different collections with repeats. DO buy, if you can find them, Hardcore DEVO Volumes 1 & 2, and Duty Now For The Future.
I am currently listening to Homeland Security Director Michael Chertoff's cousin Ben arguing against various 9/11 conspiracy theories. ...on Coast to Coast AM.

thanks jen!
Today I'll listen to: - Brian's Intrumental mix - Always Trying (a Logistic Records compilation) - Octave One - The Living Key (To Images From Above) - Carla Bozulich - Red Headed Stranger (I lended the CD to a colleague and she gave it back to me nearly 6 months later, with a damaged digipack, fingerprints on the CD and a coffee stain on the cover! Aaaauuugh! I can't fucking believe it)
