Well, they play sold out shows in Paris, their latest album is acclaimed by the whole press (trendy or not) and they did the covers too.

I really like them a lot. I've got many videos and unreleased material. Saw them last year (pete was'nt there). I missed their show in a small small but ultra-cool venue, but I'll see them in November.
I once chatted with an arab bartender in Paris where Pete did some solo performance, he told me they were really nice people, but disturbed. He felt sorry for them.

yeah its pretty rock and roll the story of the Libs. its quite refreshing in a weird way to have a band with such turmoil, without faking it. makes it all the more real and intense. just like the old days.

my brother went to see a solo show in London few months back, but one of those Pete didnt show.

Bullet - Reverend Horton Heat

Lib's story is rockn' roll but I prefer Pete not dies in the next days and makes a couple of album again.

Not overly excited by it - however track 10 "Fed up and low down" is sexy as hell.

I downloaded this great song from Tanya Donelly called "Influenza". I think it's a B-side from around the time of "Lovesongs for Underdogs".

Also, "Clara Bow" from 50 Foot Wave- it sounds like a Nirvana song.

Eighties Matchbox B line disaster - Fishfingers. Thanks to Surfer Rosa and HPM's enthusiasm for this I picked up the album. I feel like jumping around the house wherever I go. It makes my cats go flip.

I'm not listening to anything right now (except the printer, that is), but the last album I did listen to was the "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack.
