No, no, no. I didn't mean to make you feel stupid. I simply did not know that it was a holiday in England, just as I didn't know that Velouria's on a commercial somewhere out there. I know nothing.
I still believe in the excellent joy of the Catholics |

This is the best post in this thread yet.
Thanks vulture, I will actually have to watch T.V now just to see it. It's funny 'cos I was on a website just the other day that lists all the different bands/acts whose music has featured in adverts, and the only Pixies one was Tame in the Smirnoff advert a few years back now.
Hansel and Gretel have formed a band, .....And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Breadcrumbs!!!
I have seen this advert loads of times now. Always cheers me up. |

Actually, I never watched it. Nor have I ever seen "Soylent Green." The phrase is a significant enough part of popular culture that I feel comfortable quoting it anyway, though.

Well, it's the official Frank Black fansite, anyway. But unofficially, to all intents and purposes it IS the official FB site-Frank's been on so many labals, there's not really an official label website (4AD may be significant, but that was agea ago, and only 2 albums!) I'm sure Frank see's it as kind-of official. It's definetely recognized. |

I have to wonder why this thread isn't more popular. I mean, you can post ANYTHING. I guess people like a certain amount of structure.

He also had a house with a picket fence tattooed on his left arm. Truly the most curious thing I've ever seen tattooed on anyone. Strange thing is that because of the utterly bizarre choice and execution of the subject matter I found myself quite liking it (the one on the arm that is, I was only treated to a few moments of that back). So much of what I see tattooed on people generally is simply so bland, just crap that they've chosen off a wall on the spur of the moment with their mates while out pissed. I find myself wondering what the hell motivated their choice when deciding on something that permanent. Though I'm sure plenty people think exactly that of mine.

because there hasn't been nearly enough posting in the bearded thread.
Or have we truly exhausted all original topics?
Maybe a show yourself type thread needs to be started again so that we can ogle any newbies?

I don't see how anyone could steal your identity just by knowing what you look like. I don't think anyone's asking anybody to post fingerprints or retina scans.
