Hmmm, good question. I wrote this without thinking much at all. That's probably obvious though, huh? hehe ;)
a floating object moored to the bottom to mark a channel or something (as a shoal) lying under the water
a life buoy
maybe the subconcious, "channeling" a spirit from the future? me from another mental vantage point, maybe someone else, or the wisdom of inanimate objects? Maybe a dead person floating in the water, or me dead in the water, or Orpheus' head? an oracle? the song oracle?!!! Maybe I was "channeling" the song oracle years in advance! hahaha!
or it could be me floating on the water, sunburned orange, sun-stroked and sick.
I had better stop, or it'll never end. hee! All of those work for me. I worried it sounded silly, but I had to use it anyway. It was just a random entry in my sketchbook. |

OK, ok... thisi the worst night ever... I went to brush my teeth with the plan of having me an early night and sitting in my sink is the biggest ugliest spider I've ever seen.. it's all long and thin and disgusting, it's at least 4 inches long and I hate them and I'm real scared of them and now I can't go into my bathroom, should I just wash it away or something? Will it fit down my plug? Ew
and, as an aside, I knew it would be there, as I walked through my bedroom to my bathroom I thought ha this night is so bad I bet there'll be a big spider on my toilet or something and sure enough, big evil spider

Wow, that's really weird, Tre. I've had premonitions like that too, and usually invovling spiders. Very strange.
I hope things get better for ya.
Do you have a vacuum cleaner with a long nozzle attachment? Or a friendly neighbor with nerves of steel?
4 inches?!???!?!??! Can you take a picture for us? |

I cellophaned the sink
A girl I used to live with told me that if you kill a spider a hundred more come to revenge it's death, so I avoid killing them, just in case
I'll try taking a picture with my camera phone but there's a hell of a lot of cellophane round that sink now
And all of my neighbours are antisocial at best and not overly pleased with me because of my drunken friend ringing the doorbell for twenty minutes from 3.40am to 4am this morning...
I dislike spiders. But I nearly always know when I'm going to encounter one

Novel mebbes but the damned spider is still there, it is real ugly too, I left my phone at work so I can't post the pic tonight, it's horrible, I may have to wash it down the plug
[EDIT] I just counted it's legs, it's only got seven which makes me think it's a battle spider, I'm not messing with a battle spider, if I tried to wash it away it'd indiana jones style hang onto the plug then come out and eat me in my sleep. Damned battle spiders.
On the plus side, I have a storm here! A big bad rainy sexy storm!

summer rainstorms are sexy, it's all warm and because the day started nice clothes'll be thin and skimpy then the rain starts and it's first few drops feel tepid against your hot skin, then after the first few teasing splatters of big fat rain it picks up pace and rains heavier, making the air smell musky and the hot skin is cooled by the initial full on blast of rain but as the rain gets heavier and heavier and faster and faster your summer clothes get soaked through, all wet and clinging to your skin but still not cold because the warm air is wrapped around your body warming you up hotter and hotter and then when you think you couldn't be any wetter the thunder starts and brings a skip to your heart and a thrill to the pit of your stomach and you look up at the sky and feel the moisture clinging to and hitting your face and see the bright electric flash of lightening and feel intenesly it's staticy friction that fills the air...
well, imo anyhoo
