These games kick major ass...they deserve a lot more credit than they receive. Tons of fun, great graphics, awesome game engine, really cool server side mods...I really suggest checking them out.
Yeah, you need a free account with FilePlanet to download, and I think you have to register with Vivendi for a Tribes 2 CDKEY. When it came out and while it was being sold, it came with a key which you would create an account with. All free.
