I am getting the Trompe Le Monde "P" logo on my arm and want to know what colors you guys think would be good, for both the P and the circle/lightning bolt.
Thanks.

Colors on a tattoo fade, especially if it is in the sun a lot and you don't plan on becoming religious about sunblock. So, I would say go with black and just the color of your skin. If you DO plan on being a sunblock nazi - I think blue would be nice. Darker colors are better...

Don't get it at all. After this tour the Pixies will become huge, Frank will be replaced with the singer from staind and you'll have a gay P on your self.

Black. Coloured tattoos can look tacky.

The really scary part of the picture, KOK, is that that hair and those clothes are back in fashion. Well, maybe not the "guy" on the far right, but still... |

The darker the colour the easier it is to remove when you are old and wrinkly.
Why is 'monosyllabic' such a long word? |

I say don't do it too.Not that you wouldn't like them in like 50 years or whatever, but if you still want to get it, definitly go with black.Colors DO fade and then you'd have to get it filled in again....not worth the effort. |

There's also a guy over at Pixiesmusic ('Falula' I think his name...), he's got the P on his arm. I wonder if he frequents here?

Finally! I knew it was just a matter of time before the guys at work would have to eat their words of ridicule, regarding my latest fashion trend.

Did you just draw that to illustrate your point? I can't decide if that's really sad or really cool... |

Draw that? I wish I had that much artistic talent.
Google image search. Gotta love it!

You know, I never was going to get a tattoo, but now... This image isn't copyrighted is it?

I got the Flying 'P' logo on my leg. It's dark purple (which blends with the skin nicely) and the 'P' and inside circle are yellow which could fade to my skin colour, but that's fine.

It's amusing to consider something as permanent as a tattoo a fad. Not saying that the tattoo is particularly a fad, but just thinking that something that lasts forever would be done in the name of trendiness. Weird.

Yeah, Prozacrat, I said something similar a while back when Pixies Tattoos came up last time.
You wouldn't think people would be stupid enough to get a tattoo in the name of fashion, but all these """"emo"""" kids getting these stars is quite funny. When did these emo kids put down their skateboards and hang up their hoodies anyway?
