i have my reasons, other than the obvious pixies obsession.
i'm a photographer. i love abstract art. the pixies used weird, surreal art in their sleeves. a monkey with a halo, with 5 6 and 7 around it: surreal and clever.
my brother did the tattoo. he's an amazing artist, and now i have his art on my arm. i'm proud to display his talent.
also, it's just a tattoo. why not get it? what do i have to lose?

yeah, it is very nice. it just always shocks me when people get such noticable tattoos, pretty much because of their permanence. i'm such a dynamic person that i can't imagine doing something like that, unless it's just a small, secret thing, just for me. when i was in middle school, i razored a bunch of tattoos all over my body that i now can't get rid of and show when i wear a bikini. for me, that's truly a shame, so i'm panicky. mine, however, don't look anywhere near as good as yours!

| that's ridiculously good, though i always thuoght that if you liked a band that much just get a blank shirt and write "I really like the pixies" on it or something like that, something less permanent. I've kinda scratched some tatoos/scars into my arm and I thought they were cool for the first few weeks then i started to hate them, but they're minor and within a few years will be hardly noticable, unlike your tatoos, which if for some reason you ever stop liking the pixies or just don't want decorations on your body, you're pretty much stuck with |
