sorry to hijack your thread a little more.
but i have heard a little of your jim white, and i was not impressed.

don't think so. what i heard was not particularly memorable, so i wouldn't remember.
i did hear good things about him, but it just wasn't my cuppa tea.
go listen to 'sue's last ride' by the dirty three to see if you are really dead inside.

Is there anywhere I can download any tracks? I've been meaning to listen in for a while now... Also, how much are the Rough Trade comps? I'm too lazy to look.

download the tracks from the comp? or jim white? well there's the usual places... the track i mentioned is quite hard to find though. i think the comp is normal price, £15 at most. a double cd. well worth it.

Simon, he couldn't even win the World Championship, so I seriously doubt he could write a great record!!!
He did live a bit of a rock star life style, I must admit.
What other threads have I 'ruined' by the way??? I haven't even ruined this one. I provided your first response 'cos I felt sorry for you. It was getting kind of embarrassing for you.
