This has been a fun series to watch. I think it's gonna be San Antonio tonight for no other particular reason than "I have a hunch" : ) I'm glad to see this thread here and I'm looking forward to taking a look around this place (first time here)

I don't envy the people who have to choose the MVP. At this point, you could give it to Big Shot Rob and it wouldn't be totally ridiculous. At least, not ridiculous enough to sit down next to MissMaceo (welcome madame).

Giving Horry MVP would put him in the Hall of Fame, which I think he should go to, and will be sad if he doesn't get in.
Kathryn, what time did you make your prediction, at tip off?
Miss Maceo, it's okay, let's make out, I know of a secret place.
Game was on pace to be 54 - 53 after 4th quater.
Pistons are bringing it.
Manu's that guy in the gym who recklessly charges the paint and throws up some junk and it goes in. again again and again. I guess I would want him on my team.
Go Pistons.

OH, you fuckin picked at halftime. I see. Your prediction is disqualified. So it's only Me, Darwin and Speedy.
Lookin good for the pistons.
I love game 7 but it makes me sad because I know for a fact there will be no basketball for at least 3 months. =(

Thanks for the welcome : )
ack! the very last quarter of the season is on. That's always an uncomfortable realization at this point in the finals... don't worry kathryn there will be no finessing after they find out what a total dork I am...I am flpping back to the OC during commercials...I own the greatest hits of both Air Supply and Chicago and my first concert was DC Talk and Michael W Smith. hahaha
hey two questions for anyone nice enough to offer: 1-how do i make a line between my sig and the body of the reply? 2-dammit i forgot the other thing i was going to ask afuckingready . *looks for short-term memory*

I love baseball. The only sports I need are baseball and cycling.
Q: What's the biggest way that baseball differs from basketball? A: Baseball officiating is consistent.

Me too (about baseball and cycling, well they're not my only, but baseball is my #1), I wish my TV package had OLN. No, Tour de France for me and I bet it's going to be a good race this year. |

I actually love baseball, but having been a lifelong fan of the texas rangers, well, maybe you can understand. See Chan Ho Park 8 run 1st inning the other night, and "ace" Kenny Rogers getting lit by the angels to culminate the sweep. Consequently, I will wait to live vicariously theough the teams in the playoffs as I do every year.

With OLN and Tivo I have pretty much all I can watch for the month of July. Go Ivan Basso! |

I did. For some reason, no matter how many times I logged in last night, it wouldn't 'stick' so it made me re-enter each post. Not doing it today though so *shrug* thanks though : )
not a fan of baseball, little (ok a LOT) too slow for me I know what'll help fill the void though - nba classic games!!!

Looking ahead to next week, right now it looks like we are leaning toward Bogut. Plus there should be someone OK still around at #36. The Porter firing was totally by suprise, something must have went down while they were working out Bogut and Williams last weekend...
