yeah, read about this in Metro....
is he getting old and repenting for his sins.

just leave the little shits alone.

but 24 beers in 24 hours is nasty.
We call it the 24-hour famine.
a friend of mine tried it with a group of mates ages ago and only made it to 18 hours...
he did not recommend it.

24 beers over half a day is not unheard of among people who drink large amounts frequently. But staying up for 24 hours while doing it is probably the killer.

depends on the rules too.
24 330ml stubbies would be much easier than 24 500ml cans or pints.
i've drunk 8 jugs (1000ml) in a night before several times, which is nthe equivalent to 24 330ml bottles...but that was over about 5 hours- maintaining that over 24 hours would be much more difficult.
