I stand corrected.
I don't know what beach football rules are. I think I'd enjoy tennis though. How about baseball!? I'll put some American in all of you if that's the last thing I do...and by "putting some American in you" I don't mean what you're thinking. That's only for Mel. And maybe bumblebeesimon.

I tell ya Simon, there are some serious pyschos playing amateur football up here. That's part of the reason I gave it up. I still play five-a-side a lot and my works has an 11-a-side league so I still get to grace a football pitch, but not to the level I used to. I prefer staying in bed on a sunday morning after a night trying to find Bumble in a tiny club!!!

Of course they're pub games, thus my use of quotations in "sports." However, I do believe I have the upper hand, considering the fact that these games are probably mostly played when completely hammered. I will be sober.

its kinda the same, apart from in snooker where you have all the different coloured balls, pool just has two sets of balls, different colours, and the black and white. Aim of the game, - pot all of your colour, and then the black to win.

Black is the 8 Ball, and yes that's the "standard" game of pool rules. You can play as teams of 2. There are also other variations of the game, such as 9 ball where you only use 9 balls and sink each one in numeric order. There's also Cutthroat, which involves 3 players...you're either low (1-5), mid (6-10), or high (11-15), and the object is to sink every ball except yours. It's all very fun.
Snooker looks and sounds fucking retarded.

I was pooling your leg (what a wonderful expression in English, I really like it) - of course I know pool, the French invited that. But I'll agree with Simon, Snooker is better. Just like Tennis is better than Table Tennis.
