I have an old issue of a magazine called Mondo 2000 which I originally bought 'cos there was an FB interview in it. Anyway, there also happens to be an interview with shamanistic/psychodelic drugs guru Terrence MckKenna in it, and it's kinda interesting:He believes that the drug DMT is some sort of unearthly chemical that can be used to communicate with some form of intelligence from another dimension(nick-named the 'DMT elves'!)It's fairly bizarre yet intriguing, nonetheless! Of course, many people are sceptical of drug-related philosophising, but it perked my interest, anyhow!
Oh, here's his site, TERRANCE MCKENNA LAND.

"Skeptical" is an understatement. The idea that you can increase your awareness by taking drugs is about as full of shit an idea as I've ever heard. If that's what he's into, so be it, but to disconnect yourself with reality (or utterly distort it) and try to say it's something more is just a personal con job. |

James Earl Jones did a great job playing him in Field of Dreams.
