anybody out here in fb land know approx. how much of each album frank has sold? its not a trick question just always wondered if anyone had any figures outta curiosity

I read he only sold about 16,000+ copies of Show Me Your Tears recently.

Yeah, but that was according to SoundScan. Independent retailers (places where Frank sells most of his albums) don't normally use SoundScan, do they? Just a thought.

Also: sales rankings on the Amazon website are interesting to look at.

Doolittle (best selling Pixies album): #581
Show Me Your Tears (best selling FB album next to TOTY): #1162

Of course, those figures fluctuate often.

billgoodman: no, the 581 refers to it's ranking, #1 being amazon's #1 top selling album. So doolittle (at that point) was their 581st best selling album. make sense? if not, you don't get a refund but we do have some lovely parting gifts for our audience.
