I miss the fact that someone else had to support me and keep a roof over my head, clothes on my body, and food in my mouth!

Adulthood = RESPONSIBILITY, and that kind of blows. But there are other things about it that I love (sex pops to mind and the ability to do WHATEVER I want). But being a kid is FUN. I remember hearing in a movie about how we should start out old and get younger. I wonder what that would be like...

I miss the absolute freedom and joy of summertime. I miss the magic of staying up late, of having the whole world out there to explore. I miss hanging out on my bike and just roaming around, visiting and playing with friends. I miss the fact that all my friends lived within biking distance. I miss softball games and not worrying about how I looked in a swimsuit.

I take my vacations during the summer to try to get some of this back, and I still bike around as much as I can. I about cried when my bike got stolen from me last fall but I just bought a new badass one.

Having a kid helps bring this all back. Hanging out with your kid, watching cartoons, going swimming, helps a lot. Im not looking forward to that time when my kid wants nothing to do with me.

i miss how when your a kid you dont have to worry about anything, it seems if you do your homework, behave well at school everything will turn out okay...ie the girl you want will love you, you will get a good job and be happy, the really is once you reach the point of independence your're on your own and you have to make your own luck and most of what you believed in turns to be bullshit...

No need for sex, no need for money, no need for rock'n'roll - being a child is great.

Being a teenager really sucks, I agree. I hope one day I will stop being one.

He-Man, G.I. Joe, caomics and cartoons. No. I managed to keep most of that with me. You never have to completely grow up upi know. It's healthy to stay young. What I really miss though was a brand of cookies I used to get, Almost Home Fudge covered Peanut Butter cookies. So damn good. I asked my girlfriend that the next time she makes PB Cookies to caver them in fudge for me.

I really used to enjoy the texture as well as taste, of a fine art class paste. Unfortunately, due to extraneous circumstances beyond my control (like being excluded from art period), I had to convert from paste, to boogers. I originally was a big advocate of peeling lead paint consumption, but made the switch to paste in the mid seventies when lead paint suddenly was considered "passe". It's a shame too, because the stuff was delicious! I blame the damn media for ruining that wonderful snack time treat.
In order to keep on the cutting edge, I felt it was necessary to make the switch from lead paint to paste, then was forced (much to my eventual delight) into experimenting with " the nose candy" as I used to call it.
Yes, surprise! It was I, that originally coined that phrase, although I never anticipated it would take on the ugly meaning it did, during the mid to late eighties.
The reason I miss the wonderful childhood memory of eating boogers is, it was almost considered acceptable. Now today, at thirty seven, people tend to turn their heads in disgust, when I sneak a mid day snack or two.

He-man is He-man here. I say is because I saw an advert for He-man and the Castillio del Greyskull set about two weeks ago. When he raises his sword he sez 'Tengo el poder!'

I miss peeing in my bed.
I hate having to get up to go to the bathroom. I hate it!
Things were much simpler where you were a child.
You just had to let it go. And I liked how warm it was
and all.
I also miss being breast-fed. I think we should always
be breast-fed. Now that we're adults more than ever.
Please think about it.
