Over the weekend my band took a stab at some of our first recording. It was done on an analog eight track in our guitarist's garage, so please excuse the low sound quality (It was also our first time). So, if you wouldn't mind, give us a listen and tell me what you think. Thanks.

I liked it a lot. The recording is quite bad, I must admit, but I found it really OK.

Thanks Adnan. I figure I can blame the quality issue on the fact that it was our first go-around with recording. I'm hoping that future attemps will be better. Happy you liked it though.

Cool song! I actually didn't think the recording quality was all that bad; it's really raw and fresh sounding and that's the way it should be.

The recording doesn't sound too bad, it's the mix/mastering. I'd bring those drums down a bit and boost the low end of those toms to give it a more ominous feeling. Also, I probably would change up the beat and leave that main one as a bridge (or chorus)/intro beat. But I'll listen more...

Yeah, I wish we could somewhat tweak the drumming, but we were recording on only two mics, both of which were of questionable quality. Not a bad idea though, for future recording. Thanks.

Excellent riffs, but the song doesn't really go anywhere. Just kinda repeats itself. No interesting bridge or coda...just the same thing over and over again. It started off excellent, though.
