OK bear with me. A film I watched late at night, a good number of years ago, came back to me the other day.
It was black and white and it was very weird!!!
I hardly remember anything 'cos I was young and not paying much attention 'cos I was tired.
I do however, remember a scene with some really small roast chickens that were alive I think. I think they may also have hatched some creature. I seem to remember there being a man and a woman in the kitchen when this was going on. I know this is very vague but I really want to know what the film was.
Can anyone help me please?

Really??? This is what I was thinking it might have been from what other people have said about Eraserhead in one of the other forums.
Have you seen Eraserhead Cheeseman? Is there a scene like the one I described?

Yeah, there is actually. Henry and his girl are in the kitchen and their baby turns out to be the weird-looking chicken thing they cooked alive earlier. At least, something like that. There was probably a lot of wind/steam/industrial noise in the background at the time...

Yep. sounds like eraser head. I actually only recently re-watched this film, and there is definately a chicken bit.
do you remember the sound of trains in the background? and the guy having slighty peculiar hair?
I cant think of any other film it would be, and its that scene that immediately jumps to mind..

Yeah GD, he did have wierd hair come to think of it.
I can't believe I have seen this film and didn't even know it. I actually saw it before I had even heard of the Pixies.
Not sure I should have been watching something so disturbing, so young.
I wonder what channel I watched it on? It must have been Channel 4.
