i remember when the scraggly lead singer of this band was passing out burnt demos outside the Troubadour (after other bands shows) and now they're getting played on KCRW, playing Coachella and touring England.. pretty cool to see (good) local bands make it, grassroots stye.
i'm going all the way back to this thread, to once again give kudos to this band. i bought the album last week (actually purchased it). good stuff. if you're interested in checking out something new.
kind of a cross between Mercury Rev, Grandaddy and Elliot Smith.
