Pablo Francisco is not that funny in hindsight. I had been starved on entertainment for a long time when I saw him on TV, and I was high.
Two of my favourite UK comedians these days are probably Sean Lock, he has a really surreal sense of humour that appeals to me and comes up with all sorts of mad shit on various comedy panel shows. And Hugh Dennis is definately the star of Mock The Week, without him it probably wouldn't be worth watching really. He's been around since the 80s and comes from The Mary Whitehouse Experience. He is really good at doing the voice overs and his sitcom about a middle class family Outnumbered is also quite good I think.

I was going to say Doug Stanhope, but I've only heard him on CDs. As for live, well, there's no one here right now.
