tried getting tickets for pixies first shows in london. had several friends over the country logged on ready for the clock to turn 9 with plastic in hand. ch-ching! two hours later cant get near the fuckin credit card screen. gutting. finally get through and you know it, complete sell out within minutes.
curiosity took me to ebay and there you have it...two pixies tickets up for grabs....£300 and rising. and that was just the start. plenty more popped up like that. hey man, one of thems my ticket.
cant believe the genius yet immoral public out there. us die hards denied the chance to see our beloved. if i wasnt such a huge fan i'd pat those guys on the back. a £20 ticket selling for more than hundred times the original price. what a money making scam. like i say, it sucks but somewhere insidethis corrupt mind of mine i cant help smiling bout this exploitation.
maybe its because i got my tickets for the second two dates announced laters. think my friend may have two or three spare for the friday gig if anybody desperate but dont quote me on that. they'll be kept well away from your friend ebay.co.uk.
for anybody who read this, sorry bout my whinging. just thought it sucked few fans out there wont get to see them because of profit.
my friend, snap up any tickets out there whether you like the band or not. ebay them coz theres people out there with more cash than sense. i, unfortunately, are not one.
curse you ebay. fuckin genius! |

when i sold my FB&TC tickets on ebay recently (i couldnt go, though i managed to get to Edinburgh and Sheffield gigs) i sold them for basically face value. I think its out of order to buy in a number of tickets to just sell on.
