Maybe it will be a one-show deal after all? Them rehearsing in Minneapolis is news to me, though.

GONE TO HEAVEN
The Pixies were supposed to start their highly anticipated reunion tour next month in Canada -- Winnipeg, to be exact -- but Boston's post-punk icons have quietly booked an unofficial tour kickoff at the Fine Line in Minneapolis on April 13. They're rehearsing in town for a few days before the show, is why. Tickets went on sale Thursday and sold out faster than you could ask, "So do we call him Frank Black or Black Francis?" (C.R.)
Thanks to Jason Koffman for pointing this out.

You'll probably do a better job than the Fine Line Music Cafe!

God do I hope the full North American tour is in venues with at least 10,000 seats. Otherwise I'll never get a ticket.

God, why would you ever prefer that to a club show? It's not hard to get tickets to these things -- you just need to have your shit together and pounce on 'em when the tickets go on sale. |

Well spending every weekday in a classroom sorta makes pouncing on that 10AM on sale time a bit hard.
Sure a club show would be great, but there really arn't any around here.

I hear ya, man. I wish I had all the time in the world to just sit on the net and find out these things instead of working full time and going to school..
