I think Floop's nodded off. Someone give him a nudge.

If the nudge doesn't work, poke him between the second and third ribs with the friendly end of a crowbar. That should get his attention.

Lovely pop song. These guys can write a good tune! I like them a lot. Check out the Elephant Six website for a live version of that song (and five others) recorded at some radio show.

Yes, OBW, that's the one.
I didn't post the link because last time I did that, I got a slap on the wrist from Malax for posting links to music when it wasn't my turn... People got confused...

Sounds like Electric Light Orchestra with a better singer. I like the singer but that is all.

I'm not too crazy about this one. I got excited about something right at the beginning, but once the song really picks up steam it just loses its appeal to me. I can really see how people would like it though; just not the kind of music I would listen to. I think it's the singing - the voice definitely turns me off.

I actually sold the Beulah album from which this song originates so I guess that must mean that I'm not too keen on it. Saying that, I suspect that this was one of the better tracks. Not really my cup of tea though.
I think the vocals are the biggest problem.

A bit Mancunian, but in a good way? Please explain, I don't understand.
Oh, this is never gonna get old.
PS, what I actually think of the track... It's OK, but really not my sort of thing at the moment. I think the singer has a reasonable voice, with less of the forced nerdiness that this genre often engenders, but apart from that I think its kind of average. But thats just me.
Just out of curiosity, has anyone's selection been universall liked yet? I think mine was universally disliked... |

I think 2 or 3 were, I think mine wasn't far off. Lots of people seemed to like evergreen.
