Hey everyone, I managed to get a group rate at a very nice hotel. Its the new Clarion Hotel at Polo Park. You can see it at http://www.clarionhotelwinnipeg.com/
Regular rooms are $120CDN and for people coming to the show it's $99 a night. When you book your room mention that you want 'The Pixies' rate ;)
The website has everything the hotel offers like a pool with waterslides and a exercise room.

It's on Portage Ave. which is the the main route into downtown. Many buses run from there and it takes about 15 minutes to get downtown by bus and 5-10 minutes by car. It's next to Polo Park, the largest shopping centre in the city. Around Polo Park you'll find almost anything. Lots of restaurants, Chapters book store, Best Buy, Wal-mart, etc, etc.

| We were thinking of staying at the Malborough or the Delta, since they are walking distance from the venue... anyone got a hookup at either of those places? They aren't too spendy anyway... a few people in the Winnipeg thread were considering the Malborough. |

| Awesome ... just put in my Marlborough reservation. Wish I could arrive on the 13th but my buddy won't be coming up from Chicago until the night of the 13th. 10 hour drive ... I guess we should try and leave early in the morning. |
