"Some commentators expressed puzzled amusement at all the fuss. A headline in Saturday's Toronto Star read: "Oh, Canada! We let ourselves be baited by a dog puppet." Nevertheless an editorial in the same issue of The Star said the sketch "wasn't clever it was hateful and, yes, racist."
The editorial went on to say, "O'Brien would never have dared such a stunt at home in New York City with American Hispanics or Jews," and added: "Goodbye, Conan. Don't come back soon."
The above was written about Triumph the Comic Insult Dog from Conan's viit to Canada.
As someone said in ANOTHER TOPIC about ANOTHER INCIDENT - SInce when are Canadians a race?

That's almost like if I took offense to being called a "whitey" or "cracker" for being a white anglo-saxon male. Canadians are not a minority!

Interesting. Over our side of the pond America suffices for the US. Plus I think its more fun to say, kind of clambers out of your mouth better than the you-ess.

Jennifer, it doesn't take so much to make you happy, repeating "Stitches" every time you reply to mcmikey seems to be an immense source of pleasure to you. You should try to get a guy drunk and then make him have sex with you. You will thereby discover another source of joy. It will perhaps even make you more agressive.
