Well, I finally got the purchase screen up after a minute of constant refreshing, but it would not give me any # of tickets to select. Some kind of screen error I think. It was like seeing heaven through a locked gate.
Seriously bummed.

my friend got 4 in section c, row 13 i think. my dad got 4 in g. i got nothing, but my friends and family came through and i get to see the pixies. best day ever! i am not sure if we will have more than 1 extra, but any extras will be made available here.
and now i'm living in the cold but i'm looking for the sign |

Yes!!!!!!!! I feel like I just smoked a pound of crack!! I have tons fo extra tickets guys. As of right now my count is up 18 tickets!!! I only need two so 16 people are in luck!!! half the people that were searching for me got thorugh but the other half didn't.

I just stayed at the page for the show itself. When That Magical Time(tm) comes around, the page transforms from a "sorry, tickets not on sale yet" page to "COME AND SEE THE PIXIES... IF YOU DARE" page.
I had a remote connection to my Work open as well as one IE window at home, so I was refreshing in 2 different places. Funnily enough, I got a pair of tickets held on both... so some lucky person got what was probably the last set of tickets when I pressed Decline 5 minutes later.
The key to being quick is to master shortcuts. Don't press the BACK button when you get an error, use backspace. Press F5 to refresh. Hit Enter instead of mouse click if the proper target is focused.
I can't believe I have tickets. I just.. wow. I'm going to crank Break My Body and dance around for a bit. Congrats to everyone! I might have one spare ticket; I'll post at a later date when I know for sure. </back to lurking> |

Sorry didnt get extras, but i kept getting that error message saying "we can not fill your request, please lower your ticket #" for about 3 minutes. I couldnt believe I was able to still get through, i had almost stopped trying

My friend also got 1 ticket , first row balcony (section G). So we'll both be there in different seats (I will be laughing at him from 4th row floors). We may be looking for a third singleton depending on how we do with the victoria/vancouver shows.
I do have a pair of Calgary tix which I would be willing to trade for a single Winnipeg ticket if we do need it....

Guys...I got 4 tickets, enough for our group, but my friend did NOT get tickets, so we won't have the extras we hoped for. But I don't need to be on the list any longer, so that will free it up for someone else.
I can't believe how frickin' fast that sold out - within seconds!
Sorry to whoever didn't and does not end up with tickets...seriously...I hope everyone here ends up with them, your the true fans that deserve them.
I wish everybody good luck in making sure everyone on this thread gets tickets.

I was on the phone with a ticketmaster person at 8:05 PST and it was already sold out!
I got on the page right off and didn't get any tickets. Please, success people, tell us your secrets! I want tickets to Vancouver and I'm inexperienced with ticketmaster.ca.
When I got the No tickets availiable screen (or whatever it is you get as the second screen when you have been unsuccessful), I clicked their back button then pressed the look for tickets button again. Should I have done that or refreshed the page first? |

i have to double check and make sure my friend who backed out still does not want to go. i'll be sure to post if/when it's up for grabs, but i definitely have 2 in sec C row 4 available. |

That's really funny that you're in the same row! What a coincidence! Hopefully the seats will be ok.. from what it sounds, it's a pretty good theatre. I'm going to try to bootleg the audio for the show. |

If you get some kind of error on the 2nd page, refresh (F5, enter). If it says no tickets available, you're probably hosed but keep refreshing because someone may have gotten through twice and only picked up one set, so that other set goes back into the pool.

Success!!! I first got 1 ticket then I actually had enough time to go back in and purchase 3 more tickets!
I'm not sure how many extras I will have just yet so I will post later on when I know. |

man, I went out to an outlet I thought nearly nobody knew about and found a 20 person lineup. I was like nearly an hour early too. I cant believe they sold out in 3 minutes.
This is a long shot, but if anyone has 2 extras, it would be more than greatly appreciated. |
