Okay people, now for the long-awaited list (for the pre-sale people, at least). I'm leaving myself off for now, because I'm currently talking with two different sellers from Minneapolis but don't have everything totally worked out yet. But that won't affect anyone besides the post-sale, although they are delayed anyway so as to wait for a decision on how to distribute those.
It will be up to the buyers to contact the sellers via e-mail and make arrangements. Once a successful contact has been made, it would be nice to notify me via the forum so we know how things are going. However Matt, myself, Dave Noisy etc. take no responsibility if a seller is unresponsive (but keep in mind that all of you pre-sale buyers are getting sellers who have confirmed at least TWICE that they have tickets to sell).
Finally, I was wrong in that recent post about EdBudd's re-sold tickets going to post-sale people. He was one of the re-confirmed people and without him there wouldn't be enough to go around to the pre-sale list. So I am buying four of his.

So Pixiesarethegreatest, you should be contacting both MattB and Solace.
As for extras remaining at this point:
MattB (4) -- this is assuming he has an additional two after getting two from porkbone1.

Note that two of those will go to me, so there should be a total of 11 extras still available for post-sale people.

I've been debating all morning in regards to how I'd like to see the tickets distributed and how I feel about 1 per person proposal. Ideally everyone should have the opportunity to share this experience with a friend.
I had assumed that everyone on the post sale list didn't have tickets, but I stumbled upon this post which indicates that qris already has tickets.

Off the topic of ticket exchange for a moment:
I just thought of something, and it's sort of dorky but I'll share it anyway. Since Logan and some people seemed interested in pictures to ID people before and during the show ... well, I've kind of slacked on that maybe partly because no one else did it first, but one thing I'm curious about is if anyone on this thread is on Friendster. Oh, don't groan, because I bet you're on there, aren't you? So am I:

I'd be very interested in 3 tickets if possible, but I know that is a little greedy. The thing is that I know that I need 2 because I don't have a car, just a fellow fan with a ride. The third ticket would be for my girlfriend (a pixies fan, a huge one)... and the show is the day after my birthday. So it would be kind of a very swell trip if all three of us could go. That's why I'm up for 1st come first serve. If qris and some of the others are already set up or don't really respond, I'd prefer to have the 3 tickets for the sake of the experience.
Well, I'm excited anyway, thanks a lot for this opportunity! |

I am happy with any of the scenarios you proposed roomloo. They are all very fair and because of my position in the list I seem to get one anyway. With nothing against debaserjones' girlfriend ;-) I would prefer a scenario where (if I must give up my second!) my other ticket went to someone below me (If I give up a tick I would prefer it get a list member their 1st ticket rather than someone their third).
I feel that fb list members we should all get one - that way it becomes our dates/friends that are really in the lottery. So I like your 'give everyone one then draw for second and then draw for third' scenario. That way you are saved disapointing people - and if I don't get 2nd tick I will blame the rock gods instead of the rules or people ahead of me!

It looks like we could get away with the one-at-a-time scenario (would we skip hhands and Alec E? That hasn't been answered yet), except for debaserjones' predicament. I suppose one consolation I could offer to debaserjones and anyone else who doesn't get quite as many as they need is to e-mail the three sellers we have with "one tentative," whose tickets will not be doled out to anyone when I do the post-sale matchups. That's not to say I am definitely going to go one-at-a-time, but if we did, that might be one way for debaserjones to feel a little better about it.
I don't know, I'm hoping this can be decided soon... |

| Also to debaserjones and anyone looking for more than two, I thought I'd point out that unless MattB's four are all together, if you did get more than two the seats probably wouldn't all next to one another. Not that that would discourage you, just pointing out that getting your third from one of the "tentative" sellers wouldn't necessarily put you in any worse a spot than just getting them directly through our exchange. |

I just signed on to that Friendster thingy. I've got a picture to upload, but it's a nightvision picture of me wearing a gas mask (don't ask). I'll get a better picture up following that one shortly. Maybe it'll be a picture of me modeling my Pixies tattoo, so that we're all agreed that I ain't no hacker.  And roomloo, do I contact edbudd then?

Also, I would like re-confirmation from brysonmeunier before assigning his tickets. I e-mailed him this morning. I think I remember something about him not checking the forums/e-mail too often, so I think I'll e-mail faye_in_dc right now as well, since she seems to know him.

One at a time skipping the post-deadline folks is fine by me, but as I mentioned in a previous post I'm biased as I benefit directly from that setup. We should probably wrap this up soon, however. I'd hate to have someone get their tickets in the mail on the 15th of April!!!
So where are the out-of-towners staying in Wpg, and where is the meeting place before the show for a bevvie? I kind of lost track of that part of the thread in my anxiety over trying to get tickets!
