| Heard about it. Doubtful of how good it will be. It just seems like such a weird idea to me. More power to the guy if he pulls it off successfully, without it sucking horrid turd. |

looks like he did, and pulled off, his jonathan richman show in 2003 though, i hadn't seen that before (the page that is)...

just gave a look to this guy's site.it doesn't seem that serious to me now.he even links to "avopolis" a greek online mag that took all the info for the musical from this forum...most probably it will remain just an idea.

I actually thought I heard something about it being ready by November of 2004, but I may have misread/misinterpreted the quote, and I probably couldn't find it anyway.

I've actually had contact with the guy who's putting it together. His name is Josh Frank. He seems pretty cool. The last time I was out in NY he was putting on Love Janis, a show about Janis Joplin, which is under the same format as Teenager Of The Year. I offered my services for the production, as I have a degree in theatre. He seemed genuinely interested, which was cool. If he gets back to me soon with more, I'll post it here. I should check the site too, I guess. Last time he talked to me he said he was trying to get the rights to songs, which is always a hassle.
