In the interest of keeping things organized and actually getting to a point where we can make a decision for the name of this thing, I'm starting a new thread and limiting the votes to the following. Voting will end Wednesday, Nov 12 which gives everyone a week to vote and me a chance to go to Edmonton over the four day weekend. This is not survivor, we don't have time for that unfortunately, so just pick your favourite. I did my best to pick the names that seemed to stir attention:
1. As Loud As Hell
2. Debt To The Pixies
3. Misleading The World
4. Hey - A Pixies Tribute
5. Mother Lode
6. Do You Have Another Opinion
Since we need to get people voting, I will in fact cast my vote:

The "A Pixies Tribute" or "Tribute to the Pixies" or some similar moniker will be appended to any name chosen. The title would simply be Hey. We did this with You Ain't Me - there was "A Tribute to Frank Black" tagged on, but the title is still You Ain't Me.

Hey CoF that's two votes for Repent! Not Another Pixies Tribute. You should add it to the list of choices.
Is this voting only open to people involved in the recording or can anyone vote. What I'm getting at is, not many people look into the Tabs section unless they are involved in the tribute. I know I had no idea you guys were coming up with names for the album already until I saw this thread and you had narrowed it down to just a few. Maybe you could put this question, Naming the tribute CD, in the Here Comes You Man: Pixies chat section. You might get more responses, or how about a mass mailing from FB.Net to all members asking everyone to vote.

I put it here because anyone's allowed but the preference is to make sure that the people on the Pixies CD are voting. We don't do mass mailings nor even have a mailing list, so that's out too. But thanks for the input, it's just a little late is all.
As for Repent, I don't want to keep growing the list, but people are welcome to vote for it as well. I'll accept it as the name for the CD if it garners enough votes, but it has to be narrowed down at some point. Thanks for understanding.
