Here's a game I used to play on another board. Basically, you have to tell me the song title and performer of the track from which the following lyrics are taken:
"Here she comes/you better watch you're step/she's gonna break your heart in too/yes its true."
The first person to give the correct answer (as ratified by me!) gets to set the next teaser and ratify that answer, and so on and so forth.
"I have joined the Cult Of Frank/And I have dearly paid"

I was thinking of 'Maneater':
Oh here she comes She's a maneater Oh here she comes Watch out boy she'll chew you up Oh here she comes She's a maneater
Ooohh...just feel those 80's vibes (and think bad hair)

But Barney is right. Not our turn!

Absolutely right, your turn.
It occurs to me that this game is perhaps flawed in the age of google and other search engines.

I agree that it's very easy to cheat using search engines etc, but i love that song so i didn't need to consult Mr Google and his friends.

You want a clue already?
You need to go back further than The Smiths but stay on this side of the Atlantic. No more clues until tomorrow. |

It would have to be British, I'd guess Squeeze. This would, however, be a total guess...

I know this now, cos I cheated, but I'm going to hold my tongue unless no-one else can get it. I was actually quite surprised by the answer, I wasn't expecting that.

The band's drummer has gone on to write many film scores. The lead singer has had great success as a soloist. Not sure about the guitarist.
Think Tantric! |
