Someone remastered them to sound a lot less noisy, and I assume these came from there.
I've never found out what session or studio these were meant to be from -- I recall them listed as '1986 Demos'. No idea how true that is as they're not documented anywhere and that's all the tape said. It started with the Purple Tape (long before its official release), and had these too. I think I had to ask for which recordings I wanted on the tape.

Hmm, could be wrong, he mentions a better source... but I'd never seen it appear anywhere else before uploading! It does sound a lot better, and of course it wouldn't have been the only copy out there.
