Ernest Evans really rocks, but I could get someone wanting to cut it loose first. I might go along with that.
Chicken is way too good a song for me to even consider til the very end.
Hypnotised (s that UK spelling with the s not z?) makes me think of Miley Cyrus type music if it was done by Frank, I really dig it.
I just can't vote yet.
Anyway, it's super early, we need to give more forum members time to catch up before we come close to certifying the first round |

You're So Impatient frustrates me, because if you're going to do a dumb rocker to pick the album's energy up, make it really fucking crazy and cool and fun, but it's just boring.
I'd vote for Impatient after Chicken. |

Mary is another song that has Fastman Raiderman verses, but then a dumb Dalgety chorus.
I don't enjoy it, and I'll throw a vote towards it. But I still think Chicken bothers me more, because Mary at least has nice lyrics. |

It's totally up to you, but I'd recommend making today the deadline for round 1, as we've already done a week, most of the active forum members have voted, and Mary seems to be running away with the vote. Probably better to keep some momentum going by starting round 2 tomorrow? |

My next tier consists of: You're So Impatient, Hypnotized, and Johnny Good Man.
I'm going to go with Hypnotized. While it's grown on me, the Joey-penned lyrics are particularly weak. This isn't to throw shade on Joey, I believe in a recent interview he mused what is Charles smoking getting him to write lyrics. This might be a small thing, but while I like the transition from the upbeat to slow sections, the phaser effect that marks the transition makes me cringe. |
