| The show was the Pixes not 2 guys banging on a triangle thank god. Heavy on Pilgrim and Surfer Rosa. One from Bossanova and a couple from Trompe and a smattering of newer stuff. Sound was a little wonky but improved as the show went on. Didn't help that for a while I was stuck in a bad corner but I was able to move up about 5 feet behind the sound guy. I've got a few short videos I'll probably upload. No full songs just 30 - 60 second clips. There are probably better videos posted to youtube already from tonight as everyone had their phone working. The tour shirts I bought list Fort Laudedale as their first show and West Palm Beach as 2nd. Maybe I'll go Friday night as well and see the Pixies 2 days in a row as I've never done that before. HA! |

Better than 2.0 Deal versions IMHO. I don't like Paz vocals on other songs, but she nailed that one.

| Having seen the band live with Paz a dozen times, and having seen the band with Kim 6 times.... I really think Paz does it all better. Some of her harmonies are off, but I never hear her screw up a bassline, and she brings a lot more energy to the stage. Kim is great, but I actually prefer the band as a live rock band with Paz. |
