Hi Boner. I thought I'd be doing well with 16 points after two days but I've already notched up 50, lucky as fuck. Plus I've got six new players playing today so I'm hoping to break a hundred. i picked 3 Brazilians because they have 2 games in the first round - too bad one of them wasn't Neymar. maybe FRED will have a better game against Mexico. shitty thing is. if it was only game i would be subbing FRED out for Lukaku. but now Lukaku might not even draw in for this round.
So who made Neymar captain?

Double Messi points. Not bad. Sure 2 goals would have been sweeter. I made nothing off Suarez. All big name strikers scoring so far. All but Rooney. What's that now, 9 straight World Cup Finals games without a goal, over three tournaments. We have to stick with him now. We're all dying to know how much longer this crazy drought can keep going.

I think I'm doing worse than you Denis if that makes you feel better. I have 47 points so far: a combination of yellow cards,injuries and own goals. Plus me leaving some high scoring players on the bench.
Do we get a free transfer or two after this round finishes? |

im sitting at 62 with a 2 players playing tomorrow. i'll be subbing in Son Heungmin for someone....we'll see.
66 is good for 180,000th or so out of 900,000+ btw. so there are either a shitload of late entries or people just dont know how to play.

Yeah his clearances. I transferred him out last minute for a Bosnian defender who only got me 5 pts. The underfunding stories are pretty funny. The Iranian team were told swapped shirts will not be replaced etc.
I'm taking a gamble today. Taking 9 earned points off the pitch in the hope the Algerians will perform this afternoon.

i managed 80 of a max 88 in the first round based on my roster. not so bad. in the top 250,000 or so after round one but pulled out 25 points in the BRA/MEX game - Thiago Silva...woot!
tro - bouguerra got me 7....what did neymar get today? and was he your cap'n this round?
also learned this the hard way, ended up working out in the end tho. - when changing your formation if you havent chosen a guy to go to the bench in the desired position and you reduce the number (eg. midfielders) from say 4 to 3, the player on the furthest right is automatically removed, doesn't let you choose but does warn you you might lose points.

Yeah I worked out who to remove before changing formations safely. Wasn't sure how it would go but worked out ok. Subs need a little tlc.

I've done fantasy teams before but I really don't get how you're supposed to make subs? Apparently there are two rounds active at the same time now? And I've just accidentally removed a player who scored me points (I took shiney's advice, tried to change formation but before I did I removed the player with no points from a midfield 4, then changed to a midfield 3, expecting to be able to add the extra player to defence...but no...the game just had to take me down to TWO midfielders with no chance of adding anybody!).
Am I actually just stupid? You can all be honest with me (but not too much)! Or does this seem very user-UNfriendly to anybody else?

Wait...I am just stupid. I changed round 1...and my changes are actually active in round two. But why is round 1 still active?
In other words...the game let me make changes to a round that is now closed...but I can't rectify it...because...the round is closed. Huh.

Yeah it does. I must admit I got lucky with my guesses about how to switch players and formations. Hopefully we're all in better shape to deal with round 2.

For the first game I had a laugh watching Spain get pummeled by Netherlands, but yesterday's game was almost painful to watch. Casillas' face after the first goal was so sad.
