Frank Sidebottom was one of my childhood heroes, pity the film (some of which was filmed not far from where I live) isn't really about him and just rips off his papier mache head.
Was listening to The Beatles' Rubber Soul the other day and when I heard the song 'Wait', I started replacing the word 'wait' with 'snakes' and then I couldn't get it out of my head. Anybody else hear a similarity in the two choruses?
On the topic of similar sounding bits of songs...there's a part of Lonesome Fetter ("...all my life, drums and pipes...") that sounds just like a part in 'Love Lift Us Up Where We Belong' ("...time goes by, no time to cry..."). I heard it on the radio the other day and noticed it.

"The arc of triumph"
Yup - we were talking about in one of the other threads a few months ago. Good pickup though - definitely cut from the same melodic cloth. Love me some Beatles.
