All in all it was another great show. First time seeing Paz, she fit in really well. I wish her vocals would have been a little higher in the mix because from what I heard of them they sounded great. Joey's guitar seemed to be mixed a bit low too.... They didn't say a word to the audience, and there was barely a gap between most songs. Really good energy from the crowd. People dancing, jumping, even a few crowd surfers. Much more lively audience than the typical LA show. Good setlist, my first time hearing The Sad Punk live, really loved hearing that. Blue Eyed Hexe was quite a bit faster than when they were playing it last year, I actually think it works better slower.... I was hoping that by some chance they'd do something completely out of the blue and perform The Happening since there's so much Vegas imagery in it, but of course they didn't play that. Would've been amazing. Still, the show was great, I love this band, I think this was my 11th time seeing them, can't wait to see them again. |
