So excited for tonight! First time seeing them since the original reunion at Coachella and later in Berkeley. Interested to see if they do any stuff from Bosanova, which has over the years grown into my favorite Pixies album, usurping Doolittle. Really want to hear Ana, Is She Weird, and No.13. Those songs would make the night a success for me. Also amped to hear the new stuff. Will report back on the action. |

Never listened to but knew of Best Coast, pretty solid! Guitars were warm and had an early 90s feel which I loved. Impressed. |

Awesome, tons of smiles from the band, Paz killed it and the crowd loved her, BF's wails and shrieks were animalistic, set list varied and it worked well, D=RxT!!, Joey got his guitar stuck in his pocket and BF had to actually help him get it loose, overall the muaic still sounds stellar and different and they deserve all the love they got tonight... And they got a ton. Very happy leaving this show.
Bone, wave, Euphrates, Boom, Ana, Brick, Subba, D=RxT, Something, Hey, Velouria, Havalina, Indie Cindy, Break my body, Holiday, Heaven/Andro, Ed is Dead, Greens and Blues, Nimrods Son, Here Comes, La La, No. 13baby, Bagboy, Monkey, Sad Punk, Blue Eyed Hexe, uMass, Head On, Isla De, Caribou, Encore: Where is My Mind, Vamos |

Thanks for the review/Sounds like it was a great night!
I'm so jealous of these shows I can't get to. I'm hoping for a Southern Hemisphere/Australia tour...
I have the key to #902 |

Pixies show #10 for me! Such a great show, the setlist was full of stuff I'd never seen them play before. The crowd (at least in the front) skewed much younger than the night before in Oakland and as a result was much wilder. I had a lot of fun mixing it up with the kids, but I'm definitely at the tail end of my pogoing career.

It's good you got to hear some of the songs you wanted.

Bagboy sounded more lean and mean without the "cover your breath,...."s thoroughout. It came off well. Subbacultcha is just so good live with the alternating male vocals and female repeats during the verse. Joey's solo was a bit anticlimactic. Paz was really good. I agree with Mickey that the crowd was surprisingly youthful and energetic. They were eating it all up. I truly thought BF sounded fantastic, every shriek, sneer, yelp made me chuckle at the absurdity and awesomeness of it all. He is a legend. |

Anyone has a video of Bagboy without the "cover your breath..." parts ? I'd like to hear it that way, Bagboy is my less favourite new Pixies song especially because of those.
