Just tried to play Havalina and... is Frank guitar tuned half-step higher ???

Note: he also plays Velouria with his Tele without a capo. Seems that his white pickguard Tele is in F tuning. He uses his black pickguard Tele & SG for standard tunings songs.

re-edit: hey, thanks for the video ! Finally got the correct chords ! I'll post them in the tab section.

Yes, they've generally been doing Velouria and Havalina back to back, with him keeping the tuned-up Tele for both.

I was at this show. Never seen a show at Strathmore before and it's an awesome venue. Of course, I'm always happy to see the Pixies anywhere. Great set list. Was hoping for a new song to debut (or for them to dust off a Bossanova or TLM oldie that we haven't heard since the '90s) but alas... Still awesome shoe. Highlights were: Bagboy, Havalina, Velouria, Caribou, Brick Is Red, Greens and Blues. Silver Snail was the weakest. I like the song but it was just off that night. Does Frank normally play his acoustic on it? I don't think he does. He did that night and it just slowed the song down. I know he did for the version with Paz on violin but that didn't happen at this show. Anyhow... I like the version of Silver Snail they were playing in 2013 better.
